Don't throw away your junk!!! Give it to us... please?
As we mentioned in previous posts, we hope to begin the construction of our Earthship in Spring 2014 and have our fingers crossed that it will be in condition to be moved into by Fall 2014 so that we can spend the Winter months working on the internal finishes. If there are any items that you can donate to us, we would greatly appreciate it! If your family alone began saving all the beer and wine bottles, aluminum cans and jars you used, we would have a huge head start on building an internal wall for our structure… so seriously, every little bit counts!
Also, we would love any volunteers to help with the building process so if there are dates and times in the Spring, Summer or Fall of 2014 that you’d like to come out and spend some time with us, we’d love to provide you with food and a camping space to help us out as little or as long as you’d like. Simply send us an email at secondhandhomeproject@gmail.com letting us know how you’d like to help and we’ll coordinate dates and times that we can pick up items you’d like to donate and/or coordinate times for you to come spend some time with us in Cedarville!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your support throughout the years. We are tremendously excited about this next stage in our lives and would love to have all of our loved ones (that’s you!!!) have some part in making our dreams a reality! Feel free to send us any questions you might have (I’m sure lots of them are swirling as we speak) or give us a call as we’d love to talk with you more about it.
